I have a Capital One card. I've been calling it a Quicksilver, but I'm not really sure. When I applied, I think it was for a No Hassle Cash Rewards card. On the Capital One website, it just says "Visa Signature." Same thing on my statement. I get 1.5% back.
Not that it really matters; just wondering what to call my card.

If your card gives 1.5% it has QuickSilver rewards. If there is also no AF, it is a QS.
Looks like that's me then.
It's weird that it doesn't say that anywhere on my account though. It's just a "Visa Signature" card, no further description.
Yes, those are the default descriptions, mine says Visa Signature and Visa Platinum. When you get the replacement cards though (until you change the image) you will get Quicksilver cards.
Doesn't really matter though, as the cards are defined by rewards and conditions (such as AF). I think many people got quicksilvers either by requesting a PC, or, more commonly, Cap One doing it for them as they evolve their product line.
On one card I went from No Hassle Cash with 1%, to a version with 1.25%, then the Cash Rewards (1% and a 0.5% bonus annually) to the current QS. The other card was No Hassle Travel (1%) to a 0% version, to a 1% cash back to the current QS.
But I agree that since they use "Quicksilver" you might expect to see it somewhere!
I got my no-hassle rewards card about a year ago. Sometime after that I received a letter that they were discontinuing the no-hassle cards, and my card was now a Quicksilver. The letter also said they wouldn't be sending new cards until the expiration on the current one. My card isn't a Visa ignature, but my online account says platinum mastercard next to a Quicksilver icon.
You have a Quicksilver icon? Mine just has (for each card) a "Your Image" placeholder, that doesn't actually show the customized image I used

Yup. Mine is Quicksilver, shows the QS card image right under "Welcome NoAnchoviesPlease" in card servicing, but still says Visa Platinum. And whoa, check out those mega-rewards.

You could call it Bruce to keep it clear.

That's pretty much what mine looks like. So the old name never gets changed to reflect Quicksilver? How long have you had yours?
