Duplicate application??

I can't believe I fell into temptation and tried applying for BCE, knowing I had this funny feeling in me. I got denied, then I got some email and I checked my application status... Amex said I applied for the same card twice (how is Blue the same as BCE?) so they "cancelled the application". I feel so disappointed in myself.

Im confused,was it approved or not?  Are they referring to the Blue you just got?

I am also confused.... are you sure you did app for the Blue Cash Everyday ?  ...reply looks to me that you applied for Blue Cash and which Blue do you already have?

I have the Blue points card. I thought it has been more than 30 days cause I applied for Blue on January 2nd. Back to the Garden I go!!

Yes. that was my thought, although it is hard to apply for Blue Cash by mistake.

Call them and ask, maybe they can fix it.

Would that be the best thing to do? I feel like they meant to flat out deny me, instead they must of made the mistake of cancelling the application. If it was denied, wouldn't it said denied?
