EQ score drop because of CC inactivity?

I recently checked TC and noticed that my EQ score dropped 11 pts. on TC from 600 to 589.
But when I checked EQ SW I had an alert because of inactivity on my HSBC credit card since 10/2007. I did PIF before the bill due date.

Why did my score drop because of inactivity?

Re: EQ score drop because of CC inactivity?

I have notices some weird stuff with HSBC this month.

On the DW report they updated the balances to Zero (as they should be) and 2 days later to last months balance.

One of here HSBC accts removed all the lates.

my reported dates have changed 5 times in the last 2 weeks on my 2 HSBC cards.

Re: EQ score drop because of CC inactivity?

BTW- You know HSBC normally posts the balance on the last weekday of the month right? Not the statement balance.

Re: EQ score drop because of CC inactivity?

NO!! they report when they want to they would usually report my balances a week after the due date thats why I would use them during the middle of the month so I could pay them off before they could report again  but then they started reporting twice a month they would report on the 16th then again on the 25th because of the higher balance
