I asked this a while back, but the question probably got lost up in the thread.
Does anyone know how to convert back to a personal account from a business account? I'm already a business debit holder with a business account, but every time I try to apply for the personal card, I'm asked to login to my account. Once I log in, I no longer have the ability to apply for the 2% card.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions?

You can only apply for the 2% card with a personal account (or the defunct premier account). You can downgrade by calling PayPal directly, or through e-mail (nothing in the web portal). However, odds are, you'll lose your business debit card if you do this — they'd probably replace it with the personal debit card.
But, after I lose the business debit and receive the 2% Paypal CB, I can upgrade back to business and get the business debit card, am I correct?
I was just in this situation, had PayPal Business and the Debit card. Fired up a chat on their website and they downgraded to personal account. Business debit card is still in my account. I haven't tried to apply for 2% MC so not sure I can or not.
They did say very explicitly that this account can never be converted back into a Business account.

So how long ago did you downgrade? Did you get any type of notice that your card would be deactivated? And if it's now a personal account, is it any harder to access your business debit?

I downgraded just a few days ago and it happened almost instantly. No notice that card would be deactivated, and not harder to access Business debit it is still there pretty prominently in my personal PayPal account, I can access it with one click.

can someone have 2 more Paypal accounts? 2 Business and 1 Personal Account? cause i dont feel like downgrading then upgrading.
