Well I relied on ebates recurring payments and the payment didn't process. I set it up when I set up my online account and I had a small balance due on the 10th. It was only $27.12 and had it set for the minimum payment. I logged into my account Saturday morning to pay the 2.12 and I saw that not only the full balance was still showing but a late fee too. I quickly got in the phone and told a rep that I had set up recurring payments and I trusted the system to work but it failed and I was tacked a fee. She was able to go in my account and waive the fee, told me to wait at least 24 hours for the late fee to be removed. After I hanged up with her I just paid my balance and this morning I logged in and the fee was gone. I know with synchrony sometimes a late fee appears the day of the due date even if a payment is set up for that day but it disappears the next morning but it didn't this time.
Just be sure to check your Synch accounts if you have recurring payments set up.
While I'm sorry you had this problem I thank you for posting it here! It's a great reminder that the only way to be sure your payments are being made on time is to check them yourself (wether made manually or automatically).

I should've put to check all of your accounts not just Synch. Good thing I've gotten into a habit of checking my accounts and now I'll definitely check the ones I have recurring payments set up on the due date.
