Edp MR points vs. Freedom UR

IF your using the UR portal it is much better  for point's. The only advantage Transfering points to marriott rewards account is you can choose any type of room for the same amount of points. 1 King is 30,000 and double is also 30,000 points

Yes, part of the value of SPG is the very large partner base, and things like the bonus for transferring 20K points.  It is much harder (outside staying at the hotels) to earn bonus credit card points compared to UR and MR.

Avios are recommended often for short-haul flights on AA, as the redemption system is distance based.  Yes, flying to eg London on BA with them is a huge waste.  I remember comparing two flights (BOS-LHR) on AA and BA, and it was something like AA: $600, BA: $650 + 20000 Avios.

Needless to say, I took AA!

That is why I have little value in Marriott reward points lol.  Though TBH with the 5x at Marriott stays per point is decent if use it there it could be a decent. I would just book through the UR portal unless your spending cash.  That is also why I pretty much don't care if I make the spending requirement on my Marriott card lol.  Screw Chase they messaged me this morning saying I can't get the 70k after 1k spending even though that link is out there

i have been to bermuda many times, I don't think i would really enjoy an cruise , sounds boring sitting on an boat for that many days. Do they have cruises that leave from that area off West side Highway?
