Re: Email from AMEX

I received this email 2 days ago:

Dear XXXXX XXXXX,

Maintaining a good credit profile has always been incredibly important and now more than ever it is critical. So as part of our ongoing commitment to Cardmembers, we've developed a new site to help you protect your credit profile during these difficult economic times. Go to [URL] and explore the "My Credit" section to learn about key insights and information that can help you understand and protect your credit profile. Here is just a small sample of what you'll find there:

Helpful tips to manage your credit profile

Key factors lenders use to make credit decisions

How late payments, requests for new credit, and length of your credit history can affect your credit score

Tips for safeguarding yourself against fraud and what you can do if you suspect it

We've teamed up with FICO(TM), a long-standing leader in analytics and creator of the FICO® score, to provide up-to-date and relevant information. We hope you will find the site valuable.

Sincerely,

The part that reads "we've teamed up with FICO" is priceless. I would respond that you have already teamed up with myfico and you're glad they are catching on.

And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid
