Every little bit helps...

First, thanks to everyone for the discussions and tips on how to reduce debt. I'm chipping away at a pile and ready for the next step. Paid off my car note and wondered what to tackle next, but after reading conversations here I applied for a USB Shield zero bt and transferred balances from my 2 highest interest cards (FNBO 29% apr with 54% utilization and Chase 24% with 63% utilization). Will pay that off in the 21 months, plus reduce other card balances. It's a small step but it finally woke up Experian and I gained 2 FICO points. First upward movement in more than 1 year!!

Great work. Moving from 20+ apr to 0 will put more money in your pocket to move the debt on even faster. Congrats.

Welcome!

Congratulations on the progress. The 0% bt can be a big plus. Make sure you maintain your resolve to pay it in the 21 months. Otherwise it becomes a debt trap.
