"Any PSECU members pulled their EX FICO via Myfico.com yet?"
OK. I just got my update from PSECU today. It was pulled on 6/4/13. It was 787
Just saw this news and bought my EX FICO (6/14/13): 783
So. I am not sure what to make of that. I would have to check a copy of my Experian from 6/4/13 (if I have it) over at freecreditreport.com and see how the contents of the report compare to what I just pulled from myfico.
I actually went to another forum to discuss this since people were not responding fast here, turns out it's EX 08 score which is'nt pulled by many lenders that we know of. So it's a waste of money imo. Most lenders pull 04 cause it was the harshest scoring system to the consumer (increasing profit margins for offering sub prime loans) It makes sense since there has never been 1 person to report a Fico04 (non auto enhanced score) ever reported anywhere. Highest 04 ex score was around 819.
It's pretty sad Fico04 was a system 300-850 but no one has ever obtained anywhere close to a 850. False advertising imo.
The version offered here at myfico is EX08? Anyone know what version PSECU offers? I don't think I have ever seen that info.

PSECU is Fico04 it's always inline with Mortgage pulls, Fico EX here will not.
OK. I had access to a report that reflects the 787 score I had on 6/1/13 from PSECU. The only difference between my report between now and then in the updating of one credit card whose balance went from ZERO as reported on 6/1/13 to $141 as reported in today's report. I went from 3 accounts showing balances to 4 (2 being loans).....out of the same 21 totals accounts and 10 open accounts. And mind you, that's a difference of $141 on over $62,000 in reported limits. So, I doubt it was a factor.
So, whether it's the same model, I cannot say.

Well then, the "harsher" formula gave me a better score. hahahaha. I'll take it. :-)
Either way, my contents make for a very similar score with either formula. I must not have the credit report details that the Fico04 seeks to expose/exploit over the 08 version.
08 doesn't factor in AU's as much and collections under $100 does not factor into your score etc, and you can actually hit 850 is the biggest difference imo.
Actually PSECU offers Fair, Isaac Risk Model v2 and was developed earlier than the '04 models (actually not long after TU98). "v3" was created around the time of TU04 and Beacon 5.0.

AUs are fully scored in the FICO8 models, though CAs under $100 aren't factored as mentioned.
Although this thread comes from "the site that shall not be mentioned," it offers an analysis and table of various FICO scoring models and scores based on the various FICO models. It is worth reading, and I hope it's not deleted or locked. This is important information for those who may not understand FICO scoring.
(Mod cut/edit): I'm sorry, I don't make the rules for this site but I do enforce them. Yes, I deleted the link, but anyone who is interested can google "actual fico score ranges" and look at the first result that comes up that is not from myfico.com and is entitled "Actual FICO Score Ranges."
MyFICO - 706
PSECU - 697

Figured as much. Sorry for that!
It's an important study, however, for those who are obsessed with FICO scoring, and the models used to do so.
