Scanned it (didn't read it carefully) and find the 90 day price wind an interesting concept, especially for electronic goods. Anyone with first hand experience with this benefit? Work as advertised?
Thanks!
Got the AA card email last week and the Prestige card email this morning regarding the 24 month warranty protection.

Sorry. I interpreted your title as a bad thing, before you edited it.
Yes. I got this email today. I don't see the issue. Long as my charges are not declined. I don't care how they service things. However I can't log into my account for some reason.

While 24m warranty is excellent the main question for me is the customer experience with Citi and/or its administrator.
I know that dealing with Amex is painless. If I need warranty for my phone I can just get a statement credit for the value of the phone whereas other card issuers /administrator may need me to pay for a repair first thereby floating the amount and hoping for reimbursement or at best not giving me the option of just cashing in on a busted idem value as in the case with Amex. I'd love to be wrong on this as my Citi and chase cards are much better points earning cards but it seems that if there's any probability of needing my card company to go to bat for me so far it's only been Amex that makes me comfortable.
+1 extended warranty and purchase protection is a breeze with Amex on the other hand Chase requires tons of documents and repair estimates and have to wait for more than 90 days for the claim to be approved/denied.
