ExxonMobil CLI

In case anyone was wondering, they will grant increases after the 9th month. If you call the number on the back of the card, it will not be a hard inquiry. If you hit the luv button, then it will be hard.

I still have a couple of months to go, but thought it could be food for thought for some who have the personal card.

That's interesting.  I have a 'relationship' with ExxonMobil and my EM card account doesn't even show up on my CR, never has.  My CL was $900 for years and since I only charge gas to it that was no problem, but I noticed about six months ago the CL was increased to $1,400.  That's still enough, but if gas keeps going up, who knows.

Re: ExxonMobil CLI

That's strange that they don't show up on your CR. They're backed by Citi. Does matter or not?

stef37 thanks for the info! I just got my Exxon/Mobil card today w/ a intial 800 CL

Re: ExxonMobil CLI

It reports to mine now. I know they didn't at one time. DI is AU on mine and it only reports to his EQ.

Not really, the 'relationship' I mentioned is as an employee.  The bill is automatically deducted from my paycheck at the end of the month [less the employee discount Smiley Happy (not as big as one might guess)], so they must figure what's the downside for them, they have a tap into funds to always pay the bill.  Same thing with the corporate AMEX card, it never shows up on my CR either.  Come to think of it I also have a Visa card from their Credit Union, and it too doesn't show up on my CR either.  H'mmm, never thought about that.

Re: ExxonMobil CLI

How long did it take for them to report assuming you used the card or not? Do they report to all 3 CB's?

Re: ExxonMobil CLI

They report to all 3 for me. I want to say it was Feb when they first reported.
