Ok update time. I told FIA that I could a better rate with one of my other CCs and they responded by offering me a BT at 1.99% thru 09/08. I took it.

Seeing where my credit was two years ago, it feels so good to earn a nice rate like this. It will make Christmas and New Years a lot less expensive. Hopefully I will pay it off in 4 months or so and before Amex becomes a PITA.
