FIA CSNA

I can't post on the General Credit forum for some reason.

Any suggestions or experience, or good contact info for them? No luck in GWing at all.

Re: FIA CSNA

What was the card or account you're GW'ing? FIA = Bank of America...

Re: FIA CSNA

Hauling,

It was a SunTrust MC, bought by FIA CSNA when they did that whole bank buy thing. Back in 03, 04, I was constantly 90-120 days late but got my act together and straightened it all out.
I paid it off over two years, never missed a payment.

I've tried to GW a few times, no response. I've called too, and was told by a CSR that FIA "goodwills" every 6 months by "reaging" the accounts so that only the last six months of payments show. If that were true, my acc't wouldn't still say "was 120 days past due" from 4 yrs ago... duh...I know this dude was dumb as a rock, but realized I wasn't going to get any further than that.

Just hoping someone else has experience w/ this company and has a good # or address I can get in touch with.

BANK OF AMERICA
(800) 362-6299
(800) 441-0130

Those are numbers from my CRs. FIA is probably the administrator of my BoA account.

Re: FIA CSNA

ivy, I did a search here on the forums (as I'm sure you did) for suntrust gw, and found pretty much zip. I think you'll have to do as er suggested and just plan to GW BofA.

whoops: just found this on Wiki:
Credit cards

On December 12, 2006, it was announced that SunTrust signed an agreement with InfiCorp Holdings of Atlanta to manage SunTrust's consumer credit card portfolio. The portfolio had been managed under an agreement with MBNA Corporation since 1999, but MBNA was acquired by SunTrust's competitor Bank of America on June 30, 2005. SunTrust will retain the option to purchase card assets from InfiCorp if it desires to add to its own loan portfolio. InfiCorp Holdings is a subsidiary of First National of Nebraska.[5]

On February 05, 2007, SunTrust rolled out its very own credit card that was offered to current SunTrust clients and potential SunTrust clients. By May 2007, there were already 75,000 new SunTrust credit cards.[citation needed]
Maybe this InfiCorp can help? Although I don't know if InfoCorp took over old accounts as well.

Re: FIA CSNA

I'll definitely try anything. This acc't is now PIF, closed, and wasn't late for the last 2.5 yrs, but dropped my score 27 pts when it came out of dispute last week because of my indiscretions from 2002 to mid-2005. It's hurtin', big time.
