FINALLY got a denial for "TOO MANY inquiries"

I used to only app every 90 days for any/all the cards I'd want at the time but lately it's just been whenever (maybe 4 times in the last 4 months).

I finally got my first denail with the "too many inquiries" reason as a denial.... And it's 32! Yes, 32 inquiries! lol 

No one said anything at 10, 15, 20, 25, or even 30 inquiries.

But.... now they all say it, all of a sudden. The "free credit trackers" on Discover and Cap1 now both independently list "Too many inquiries" as a "factor that affects your credit score" - both did not say this before. Interesting, no? I wonder what the threshold was.... 30? lol

Sorry to hear that Skin. Yowzer! 32? You are gutsy. I'm consider myself gutsy, but not with inquiries. So what are your plans? Gardening?

Sorry to hear that. Wow. i don't have it listed as too many inquiries in the factor catagorie. but ive had it when ive had Adverse Action. like not getting my cli to amount i requested.

32. Yikes.

Makes my 8 on tu see like childs play.

But to be fair. I do have 18 on Experian now. but i was just counting. on 10 of those in the last year. and only 4 in the last 6 months.

Funny. Many my fico members are scared to get their hands Dirty. I read the other day. and i will not name the member. But they had 80 inquiries. my jaw dropped. yet they got approved anyway. Im pretty convinced now at some point the inquiries just have no affect what so ever on your score. once you get say. over 12. not sure of exact number.

That is a lot of inquiries, here I am freaking out at 5 over 24 months/3 in the last 12.

Were these all for credit cards?

You do have a lot of AF's in your wallet, how do you justify them all?
