FNBO 30 day of non use notice really?

So just got this on my FNBO ducks unlimited card.. After 30 days of non-use..  This is new and extreme to me.. Thoughts?  I thought about cancelling it although has 25k CL and 5% back on gas and sporting goods.  Annoying if they are really wanting use in 30 days?!?  A bit nuts imho for many reasons aka vacations etc.  Doubt they will cut it in next 15 days or whatever but for even warning is crazy to me.

You might not have noticed, but you have not used your Ducks Unlimited Visa® in the past 30 days. It only takes one purchase to keep your card active and continue to enjoy these great benefits:

FNBO is riding the passive aggressive train.

Wow that is surprising. Maybe because it's a new account? Did you set up automatic payments? If so I'd use it for a small purchase each month. Or considering setting up a recurring charge on it. That way it stays active and it's ready for use when you are ready.

Re: FNBO 30 day of non use notice really?

They refuse to give CLIs on x2 cards for me, no matter how I structure and time the requests. Even zero balances didn't help. I think I've had 6 HPs in the last 2 years trying to get CLIs with no success with FNBO cards.

I've sock drawered my FNBO cards with 1 subscription and auto pay on each at this point and moved daily/monthly spend to other cards that have approved CLI requests when needed.

no firm dates but just never seen a 30 day one before from anyone.  certainly could be marketing but a threat none the less or a nudge or else this could possibly happen

Re: FNBO 30 day of non use notice really?

Honestly card isnt worth it if they want 1 swipe a month to keep them happy as usually do that anyways with gas just happened to be Citi Custom cash and PNC at 5%/4% respectively this month on gas category.  Don't really want to lose the 5% sporting good for big ticket items such as firearms or ammo etc and other things.  I can do an amazon reload for $5 as trivial but still just weird to me is all and this is to the extreme.  Still would have plenty of credit if dumped this 25k CL.

I thought most people here found FNBO to leave a bad taste in their mouth, I would dump them just based on everything I've read, but no reason to give up a good CB earning category card
