Does anyone here have any experience with the First National Bank of Omaha Graphite Amex Card? I ask because I received a pre-approval notice in the mail yesterday and the one thing that really caught my eye was the guaranteed for life APR. I don't have it with me right now but I believe the APR was around 4%. If anyone here has the card let me know what you think of it.
That must be a targeted offer because their web site says the APR is between 13.99% and 19.99%.
Whew! That APR is enticing enough to drool over.
FNBO must be stepping things up on their end (even if it's targeted) WoW

They send out offers once in a while and it's a set APR based on prime, so it can go much higher than the 3.50% offer. i got an offer for 3.25% before the Prime went up and the general consensus in threads about it before was that because it has no rewards and a $99 AF, that there are better cards out there.
I remember looking at that card. It has a $99 AF which makes it useless for me. I'm only willing to AF if the rewards exceed the value of the fee. I never carry a balance so low APR isn't really useful to me except as a backup in case of emergency. There are no AF cards that offer APR in the same range or lower.
I would rather keep the AF-free 6.50% V FNBO Amex card I currently have (also with unlimited 1.5% cashback rewards), than have the 3.50% version with the AF, but jmho tho of course
Here is an old article regarding a previous version if the Prime For Life card:
