About a year ago, I was approved for the mLife (MGM) Rewards Mastercard with FNBO. Recently, I applied for one of FNBO's other cards and wasn't approved. I was rather surprised because I had heard the mLife card was a tough one to get.
Does my casino playing history with mLife have something to do with why I was approved for that card?
Do banks set different approval criteria for all the cards they service? Or is it the company, like MGM that sets the criteria?
Just some Sunday morning curiosity!

No, your gaming or casino playing history bears no influence on the UW decision. And, yes, different UW criteria would typically apply for any of FNBO's products, which can depend on the partnership they have with a particular brand.
