FNBO doesn't love me :(

i don't know whats going on with mine but the reason i got it was because i heard they are generous giving away credit limit increases when you call them every 3 to 6 months SOFT PULL but everytime i called (i called just now) they said the system says it will be a hard pull.

Also when i click the credit limit icrease link on my FNBO account it says ...

''No Eligible Accounts Found  - Our records indicate that you currently do not have an account that is eligible for a Credit Limit Increase.''

i've had my FNBO amex for a 9 months now. i called 3-4 months and they said it will be a hard pull. 2 months later they gave me an auto increase of $850 from $5,600 to $6,450. And 3 months later after reading this i called (just now) and got the same thing ''it will be a hard pull.''

HISTORY:

I did a balance transfer $2,000 and paid it off in 4 monthly installments of $500. Made sure it was $0 before trying again to see if they would give me a credit limit increase. Still no go Smiley Sad

FNBO bankcard score 768 ulti 5%

Well, if you really want the CLI that bad, why not take the HP? It appears that they gave you some auto-CLI though... not enough?

Also, the 6 month pre-approval CLI guideline is not set in stone. This might be what is commonly reported but at the end of the day it's all YEMV. It also depends on the last time they SP'd your CR and whether your account meets the criteria.

Yeah, OP. Typically, but not always of course, if you got an auto CLI semi-recently, then "that's it" for awhile with most lenders. There are exceptions but you have to reign in your expectations.
