Hey guys! This site has been pretty informative for a relative newbie like myself! Learned alot of tricks with the CLI's and such.
So far I have a CapOne QS with a $10K limit, Amex BCE $25K, Discover IT $9k, Citi DC $6300K and a credit union Visa with a $2k limit. The Discover and credit union card always hold a $0 balance, Amex gets all groceries and gas, QS gets some recurring utility bills and the DC gets most every day stuff. I keep the credit union card around for any purchase I might want to let hang on there and pay over a few months because the interest is only 8%. Otherwise it really doesnt get used much. Discover, Amex, Citi have been good about every CLI that I have requested so far. QS is another story and flips me the bird every time I hit that button.
So, that brings me to my questions. I feel like one more card would round out the herd. But, I just cant decide which one to app for. Not sure I want to go for an AF card unless someone might convince me otherwise. That, or should I just let things ride and let the scores jump. Scores are showing 795 throughout. Not sure what route to go.

Personally I would just grow my current TLs. When you start apping just to app with no real purpose behind it you eventually end up having about 40 store cards
True. I was considering a Chase Freedom Unlimited card but I guess its redundant with the QS. But, I just feel like I am dead in the water with CL on my CapOne. I guess thats what put the idea in my head of a different card.
If you move one of your monthly bills to Discover it will help it grow more. I did this and grew from $4500 to 8X that in a little over a year.

A lot of the unoffical data points from Cap1 recently is that they are hard to get a CLI if you were initially approved with a lower CS. However, they are giving out some pretty ncie limits on the Venture when applying. I experienced this myself a couple of years ago. For the life of me they wouldn't increase my CL past $3K when I had limits from Amex and NFCU close to $30K. Then when I applied for the venture I was given $15K.

That's a nice mix already. If you were going to get another card, the regular Freedom would make sense. The Unlimited would really only make sense for the bonus (which is fine), but for regular use, the having the Freedom/Discover combo for the rotating categories to go along with the Citi DC would make more sense, I think.
