It only took 6 months but my stable of cards is basically full (two notable exceptions - CSP and SPG but those should be acquired this year). I have reward cards for most of my spending categories and some nice to outstanding CL. I know this is bragging but I'm happy with my progress.
NFCU flagship visa siggy - 25k
BCP - 8.4k
Amex Delta - 6k
Amex Zync - NPSL (highest bill 8.3k)
Discover It - 6k
Walmart Discover - 5.4k (SD)
Chase Amazon - 2k
Chase freedom - 1.5k
these two are on chopping block:
Cap1 secure WellsFargo secure
What was your situation (score, etc) when you got your BCP?

Looks good. One gap is a 2% card (not to encourage app'ing!) and maybe a Penfed card for gas if you buy a lot of that.
I get 3% on gas with BCP. The gaps I have to fill are hotels and dining. I'll take care of those later with CSP and SPG and maybe Citi Forward.

OK, Penfed is 5%, but not huge unless you buy a lot of gas. The 2% cards are just to cover "everything not already covered". Most cards such as BCP give 1% at least so unless you have a lot of such stuff, not a pressing priority. That said, turns out I use my Fidelity Amex much more than I expected.

Congrats! I think dining can be easily covered by Discover (at least for this quarter) and/or by Chase Amazon. Hotels might also fall into one of bonus categories of either DS or Freedom for one of the quarters, so your profile can really be considered more or less complete.
I'm planning on june as well. I'm confident ill get SPG. My worry is CSP. My limits with them are really low. I'm hoping they give me a 15k ICL so I can move a couple of that to my other chase cards.
I might not have the best limits yet, but I think my stable is full! I just got 4 cards this weekend! Compass Bank was the most generous with $8,000. I am going to let that be the signal to the other companies later. I added Discover IT, PayPaly Rewards MC, and a Chase Freedom. I know I am nowhere near the best Prime rewards cards at this point so I will not apply for another card for at least the next year. I will simply garden away! I will let them all grow! When I get the Chase and Discover card to good limits, I will start to hack away at the weeds and by weeds I mean Merrick and Capone. While I don't really think of Merrick as a weed, the AF card has to go and I want my security funds back! (If they decide to do PC's anytime soon, then I will keep the card since it is over 6 years old!)
I don't want an Amex now, but who knows what the future will hold. I also know I am at least a year away from qualifying for it!
Grow babies grow!
