Firestone Came!!

I just received my new Firestone card in the mail.  If I can get approved it almost sounds like ANY one will be approved!

Does not say my credit line, will have to call monday

Firestone is supposed to be pretty easy to get. My brother has one, though he tells me they are really difficult to work with if ANYTHING ever goes wrong. So be carefull

Yes, I hear they are VERY difficult to deal with.  I have one.  I hear it is a card that you pay EARLY.. and I would suggest going into a store to make a payment that way if anything goes wrong, you can have the people at the store call customer service for you.  Also, before you can activate your card, you will have to go into a store and submit a paper application, so to speak, if you have not already done so.  Also, they do not report credit limits.  So keep that in mind when you use it.  if you put 900.00 on it, it will show that as your high limit, which will read as if your card is maxed out.

Those are the negatives, but I have also heard people say they have had good experiences too.

Im hoping i get one.. i plan to buy tires soon anyway, so that will help my shown CL.  It will be nice to have if anything breaks down as well!

I submitted an application on Wednesday and called Thursday to check the status and was approved for $1,400...I'll take it..Gotta go in to do paper app before using the card....

I just got approved for a $900 limit.  I see this thread is about 6 months old.  I wonder if they still don't report the limit.  I was told that I would have to go into the store to activate it.  Is there still a paper application?

Any get approved and then go into the store and find out they were not approved?  

They told me my limit over the phone.  I  have not gotten the card yet. They told me I would know something is 3 - 5 days originally, but I called and found out my credit limit and that I was approved.

I just got Firestone in November & charged $136. That was reported as my balance & credit limit which put me at 100% utilization. I paid it off as soon as I realized that. My real credit limit is $1600. The only way I see to circumvent this is to charge almost the whole limit, then pay it almost immediately. This is if you need the credit, it's not real relevant in my situation.
