First Card with a 1k limit

I was curious as to which card you got to 1k limit. Mine was with household Bank (Old school). I was very happy at that time and felt like the journey to great credit was finally beginning.

Hm, first one was my very first card from my local credit union. It took me another 5 years to get my second one.

Re: First Card with a 1k limit

My first was BOA way back in like 2005ish. With limited history I got approved at like 1k with a permanent APR of 7.9%! Unfortunately I was very young and screwed that up pretty quickly after they bumped my limit up to 5k. Now I am blacklisted with BOA, would love to have a 7.9% APR on a card!

In these times of $50+ gas fillups and $200 grocery trips. $1,000 isn't much at all.

My first 1k would be my WellsFargo College Cashback. I opened it with a 1k starting limit.
