Hello all, I am a 21 year old college student looking to get my first credit card.
I have bank accounts with both USAA and Citi, so I'm basically deciding between those two.
Which banking service would have the best rates/overall package for someone in my situation?
I appreciate any input.

I know that Citi has several student cards in both visa and mastercard. If I'm not mistaken USAA also has a card for students. If you already have a banking relationship with either or both of them, I would think that should be where you should start. I'm sure others will chime in with more info though.
Citi's student cards have 0% intro aprs and no AF as well ![]()
Agree with above, if you can get a non-secured student card, then go that route. Then, just carefully nurture it for some time and you should actually be in ok shape for a normal "prime" card... Also, not to toot my own horn, by see my signature... It might help you avoid the mess that many of us did when we were your age ![]()
LOL, I know that's right cass. I messed my self up soooooo bad when I was younger by looking at my wad of credit cards like "Free Money" Oh boy was I wrong. It's taken me 15 years to get back into the credit world. Going at it very well informed and much wiser I must add too!
