Lol yep!
Toppers- they will take the hold off before the ten days. When I used to use C1 as my main card and pif every month, I'd always make $400-$1000 pmts, and I'd have to call and ask them to take the hold off:-/... So I know they can do it...Don't take that bs from them.

I mean, I understand they want to be careful of fraud and everything, but if you've already placed a hold one month and cleared it up as far as verifying that its legit and the account is good...why keep doing it?? There is no reason why they need to continue to place holds on payments month after month when clearly there is no problem.  Focus on the accounts that have a problem!  SMH!

Re: First Post! Capital One issue

When I registered my accounts on the Capital One site I notice a checking account that wasn't mine was listed as one of my payment accounts.   Capital One's site must have linked someone elses checking account to my credit cards.   Anyway, I deleted it out of my settings to avoid a possible action similar to what you suffered.  It was only a matter of time before they caught it and questioned me when I had nothing to do with it being there in the first place..... Maybe this happened to others and they actually paid their bills with someone else's account?  hmmm.....
