I currently have two FP Bank cards, one gold and one platinum. My total credit limit for the two is around 600 bucks and I want to increase the CL on one or both. I called them and they said they would have to pull my credit to check for this. Is it possible to get a CLI through First Premier with a soft pull? Does a back door number work for this and if so, does anyone have one?
THANK YOU!!!!
They auto CLI me i think two months ago. I was stuck at 250 for about a year, now its 450. I think that might be the only way you will get a soft pull is if they take it upon themselves to CLI you
If you request a credit line increase they'll do a hard pull AND charge a $25 fee.
It offers VERY, VERY limited growth at a very heavy price. My credit line went from $250 to $350 and it cost me $25 and a hard pull. I imagine if I ever get the credit limit up to $1000 it's going to cost me 7 hard pulls and $175 in fees.

+1 ^^^^^ could not be more correct. Use this card for what it is worth, then ditch them quck fast and in a hurry once better offers (even one - Cap One has a preapproval link on thier site, only a soft pull initially to see if any offers apply to you) come........

Another +1 from me.
Does First Premier still charge 50% fee for a CLI?

I believe they do. I requested a CLI back in April and was charged 50%. CL went from $250 to $375 and I was charged a $75 fee along with a hard pull to EQ.
It costs "up to" 50% of the increase. The maximum increase is $125 once a year.
So if you haven't had an increase and you have had the card for 2 years $250 would be possible but that's the only way!
By that time you have paid them more than $125 in yearly fees + the cost of the increase
When I had them they never hard pulled for an increase, but they will refuse to give you the $125 increase if you have had an increase in the last year, or your account is less than 6 months old.
