First Premier CC .... Tried to close. Success

Called to close First Premier CC. IMO one of the worsts cards out there. Ridiculously high interest (36% I never leave a balance) and a $12 monthly fee. Anyone desperate for credit should walk away from any offers as the card is very expensive.

Didn’t cancel as they offered no fees until a July 2019 and $25 monthly credit until July 2019. My only request was to close due to monthly fee and rep gave this offer.

Closed account today. I noticed a fee and I got the run around on offer and reps are not on the same page. Feel relieved to not have to worry about this card anymore.

Dont give in. If you have unsecured cards. Time to say bye bye secured. Call them back and dont let em make you melt. The interest stays the same regardless.
