First Premier Card

I have a dreaded First Premier card with a small limit of $350.00. I am looking to close it because I don't want to keep paying the $6 monthly fee if I don't pan on using it. I opened this account in 2007 with no negative reporting. That being said, if I close this account, how much of a hit will my score take losing all this credit history?

Thanks

Re: First Premier Card

You do not lose the history and even after you close a card it will continue to report for the next 10 years.

Re: First Premier Card

I doubt you'll take a hit at all. $350 isn't doing much for utilization and like dodfire said it will keep reporting for up to 10 years. On fako sites like Creditkarma your score will drop because they only look at open trade lines for aaoa. I say close it and save yourself some money. You have plenty of other cards.
