Re: First Premier um..

I find it funny and a waste of their time and marketing money.  There is no way I would take a card from them even with a low score.  I would rather open a secured card!

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.....
Always follow these rules: Only take a HP for a new account. Always use the best rewards card for that reward category. Don't close a card unless you know you really should. Never use more than 35% of a credit limit. Recon as much and as best you can. Use the introductory period to the best advantage. Get the signup bonus. Whenever possible PIF or balance transfer so you pay less in interest. Never give an excellent rating when it is actually the norm. Always look for a discount as more is always better.
Always accept candy from strangers because they have the best candy or from people you know have good candy.

Hahahaha got a pre-approval in the mail today. Cut it up into little pieces!

One member said that he sends back the approval blank to them. I like that idea! next time I get one of these Credit One or First Prmier app I just mail bak to them blank with a BIG X across.

This First Primier is robbing people with their high hidden fees..

There is a market and a price for everything.  It certainly hasn't discouraged folks from applying, even when they're aware of the risks/downfalls.

And you shouldn't be ashamed.  I totally agree.  Credit is credit.   Some of it can be pricey, some of it can also be very rewarding, and in all kinds of sizes and benefits.  Most people would frown at smaller CLs, but given the # of CCs and my overall profile I value even those smaller tradelines, some of them are my oldest and that's as far as they can grow.
