After having some sort of credit that is reporting to your credit reports for 6 months you will generate a Fico score.

yes just always pay on time and keep the utilization low. after a couple months you will generate a fico score

Yes. For more than 10 years I had only CC and I paid regularly. Never late. Score kept rising.

Yes. I built credit using one credit card a long time ago. Having several cards seems to help your FICO the most but it isn't necessary, and I wouldn't be worry about having several cards either starting out. Get one card, learn how to use it, be patient, then after a year or so if you find cards that work better for you upgrade.
