Been using my csp frequently the last 2 months, while on vacation at Seoul. While I checked my mail today I got a letter from chase..and guess what was inside some balance transfer checks from chase for my csp. The terms are 0% for the first 6 months then after it will be 1.99% for the other 6 months, and the fee is $5 or 1% of the balance being transfer! and while reading the small fine prints it says I can transfer up to $15k without any issue and I would need to call in if it is more than that. I don't have any balances on any card right now but I find it interesting that I got one from chase... I get these balance transfers check from citibank all the time.
I get these offers from BOA too, but never at 1%! I'm jealous.

I'm jealous also. US Bank wants 3% to do a transfer + 3.9% for me.
Those *are* pretty great terms, but I have to think that if you qualify for a CSP and for those terms on the balance transfer checks, you could also easily qualify for the Chase Slate and these even better terms:
If I had a balance to transfer, I'd aim for the Slate.

lol you're funny. Of course if you got the CSP you'd more than qualify for the Slate. It's highly unusual to see these types of offers on the CSP since it's a great cashback/travel card. Chase wants high volume purchases on these cards because of the swipe fees, so to see such a good BT offer seems definitely a unique situation.
