They're going to be the next monopoly in finances, if they keep this rate up.

I love how the first thing you see is a viking with his hand out, as if to collect an annual fee...

"You'll receive a brand-spanking new card with a Capital One logo on it later this year."

I wonder if the re-branded card will convert to an existing Cap1 card?

That's what I'm wondering too, or if they're going to make us a new kind of card, based on what we already had...interesting to see how it plays out! I'm just glad they unsecured my account!

Re: For Those of Us Transitioning to Capital One...

Nice site, looking forward to the Spring 2013 phase where we get info on the new products we can expect later this year. Ironically I did a chat to ask a question and the rep just repeated the same info from the site, which had nothing to do with my question -.-

I hope that they don't mess up my household account. 14.99% apr with 2% cash back on everything works fine for me since I PIF every month. Just need a better CL though.

I can't imagine they will create a specific card type for that, so they will probably honor the 2% for a specific period then force transition you over to the standard 1% card with the annual 50% bonus.

What is the best Capital One card without an yearly fee? I've been thinking about the Venture One, but is there something else out there I should hope for one the everything is moved over?

I already got a replacement for one of my HSBC cards. Same card, just with a Cap1 logo in the corner.

From 144k CL to BK7- 7.19.24
