Re: For those of you having difficulty getting approved

Everytime someone posts about CreditOne it makes me want to go app with them because they do seem pretty reasonable aside from that ridiculous 7.95 to make a payment thing.  I'd probably mail in a check monthly to them just to not pay that.

I'm assuming you don't get your CL info until after you've already app'd and been accepted or rejected?  I'd like to see the CL before committing myself to paying those fees.  I don't really need another 200ish CL card, but someone up there said they got one with an opening CL of 1000, I'd be pretty happy with 1/2 that even if I have to pay a monthly fee and mail a check to them every month lol

Re: For those of you having difficulty getting approved

My starting CL was 600 with Credit One.  They will determine your initial CL according to your scores, I think the peeps below 540 get the minimum and it goes up from there.  I got mine when I was about 580, my Mom has an 800 limit and she was a 650 when she applied.  So the higher you score the higher the CL.  Actually the Pre-approval Mom got said credit limits up to 2000.  But on the web if you apply it says 1000.

Re: For those of you having difficulty getting approved

Modern Surrender, I just pay my CreditOne card through my Credit Union's free online banking, and because they are a major biller, my CU has an electronic connection with them. Thus, all of my payments are EFT and the whole process is free. I do all my banking online, and havent owned a check since 2003. Look into it at your bank, and if they charge a fee for it look somewhere else. I dont get charged for my online banking unless I stop direct deposit, or if I dont use the online banking to pay at least 3 bills a month (I am making about 20 payments out of it, I use it for EVERYTHING).

Re: For those of you having difficulty getting approved

Yeah, I've gone through BofA's list of payees a few times, and they don't list Credit One.  So I'd have to add them in manually the first time and then they'd show up on my account.  It's tempting, but I'm pretty sure I'd get the 200 CL which is what's stopping me haha.
