I just called Amex customer service for a question and ended up asking about the Zync card and what i can do about it being discontinued. She asked if i would like to do a product change and she changed it to the Amex Gold. She gave me options of the green, gold, traditional gold and platinum. I tried this about 6 months ago and this was not an option but i guess it changed .

They've been doing it for a while. You can never go back, though. Hope the new, bigger AF is worth it...
What is the main benefit in your opinion worth switching?

Long live the UNICORN! I used mine the other day and got a nice surprised look from waitress.
+1
This is an interesting one in my AMEX arsenal for sure.
Sorry to steal the show but @p- how did you get the Quicksilver in a WMC edition? It looks quite nice, congrats!
...and for those of us keeping our Zync/Unicorns....it's now available with the EMV Chip ! ! !

Thanks; The new "card swap" department at Capital One upgraded it for me. I wrote up the details here.
this sounds weird, but i wish i saw the Unicorn in real life. Every talks about how nice it looks.

I got excited upon reading this. I'm nearing month thirteen, for a PC, so if they don't agree, I'm going to hopefully have "chip potential."
