I would not wory about it. The discover team has been nothing but great to me. Cards get declined all the time. I deactiveated on of my discover cards (I have 5) and forgot which one was deactivated. I would not think it would hurt gradutation in any way. It kinda sucks with secured cards due to the really low credit limit. Try to pay the balance down before the statement posts to report a low balence and show discover you are using the card and credit responsibly. Note: I have never had a secured card
