Re: Form from PenFed with no card...

Thanks!  Just paid the cell phone bill with it.  I will only use the card for that purpose since I enrolled in the Cell Phone Protection Plan

Congrats! I'm using it for that, too.

If you have any computer-type purchase looming, I think you have until September 30 to use your PenFed card at various vendors, and you'll get 5% cash back on education-related expenses. (Check the website.) I got $96 cash back last month. Woo-hoo!

So you don't buy gas? That's my main use for my PenFed card, as I can hardly afford to buy a new Macbook Pro every month, lol.

Thanks! Yes, I use my Kroger 123 card for gas and grocery.  I always get my gas from Kroger.    Before getting the Kroger card, I used the Discover card for gas and grocery.  Now I will only use the Discovery card if I need cash over.

Re: Form from PenFed with no card...

DI,

Congrats on the card and sorry i have been off here for a bit - gettin caught up with school..

Anyway- congrats on the card and also - When I got my penfed card, a couple days earlier I had gotten the form too which I mailed back but I got the card the next day or the day after I think so I am thinking they are mailed differently and thus the card being sent out has nothing to do with when they receive your form.. oh well - congrats again! What was the CL on that one?

Re: Form from PenFed with no card...

Someone had a thread going about a delay in balance updates with PenFed.  When I paid my cell phone bill the amount was subtracted immediately from the overall balance.

What are you talking about?:

For me:

A signature form for every account I opened:

    Membership

    PCR Visa #1

    Checking

    MMA

    PCR Visa #2

No doc's required for any of this!

  No counteroffers.

Generous pre-app offer ($8.2K) lead to second CC.

They rarely ask for income documentation. They are more likely to ask for verification if you are self-employed or show recent credit applications.
