Re: Freedom Unlimited or Double Cash

I personally get way more value out of 1.5 UR's than 2% cash back and I see that you have CSP so I would recommend FU but I guess it depends on how you use your points and if you're good to go on the 5/24 (you would definitely me in the minority Smiley Wink )

Re: Freedom Unlimited or Double Cash

With an income of $20,000, realize that you will most likely get a small starting limit on either card. It may or may not be sufficient to cover your purchase.

Even if you were to get a 2k-3k staring limit (which is in line with your income and your other cards), you would be maxing the card out or close to it if you put that large purchase on the card with that limit.

Re: Freedom Unlimited or Double Cash

Freedom Unlimited if you are savvy with Ultimate Rewards, 1.5% turns into 2%+ many times.

If not then just go Double Cash.

Re: Freedom Unlimited or Double Cash

theres always that chance. in which case. I get 15000 ur points either way and just do the purchase on another card. then close the Freedom unlimited and transfer the limit to my csp.

Remember that the ability to move a credit line with Chase from a brand newly opened card is not a guarantee. Smiley Happy
