As fars as I know they are the only bureau without a free lock option, but you can still freeze for free.

And there is a timed unfreeze option.

@Anonymous congratulations which CR was used by Amex for the approval

when it got reported to me by free service KreditKarma lol I will tell you...

I recieved an offer from them, I already had the preapproval..

there is a soft pull preapproval system on their site if I am not wrong!

My credit score is 810 with no utilization 110k available in credit

I persoanlly don't give about any of these big banks...., I got the Amex for its car rental benefits only

you're not gonna get rich by 6% grocery cashbacks

do not go about credit system for cashbacks or promotions cards offer, it's a flawed concept, those promos and cashback are not for you, it's for them!!

go for credit so you can have access to high amount of loans and lines so you can make money out of borrowing, not spending!!

Re: Freezing the credits after Applying for a credit

@Anonymous Credit Karma preapprovals don't mean much... they are marketing....

Just like their scores....(VantageScore) * (There are some reported uses for VS in renting and some store cards are using them)

Congrats on the Amex though.....
