Fresh out of bk13

It's been a month since my discharge, I pulled my FIFO scores today and all 3 secured cards are reporting. Tu=607. Eq=700 ex?    I just can't wait. When and what first unsecuredcards should I app for?    12 year credit history. And I make 55k a year. The 3  cards are my only revolving accounts, just can't wait. Please help any input.

I would wait at least 6 months before apping for anything else, you need some good payment history reporting.

ALL 3 of those banks told you Secured was the only thing you qualified for?

What banks, and or credit cards were included in your BK?

Was your Ch 13 a 3 or 5 year program?

Do the pre-qual for Discover to start... I have not really seen this decline you if it pre-approves.

Re: Fresh out of bk13

I never had any other credit cards before in life, I only tryd secured from reading here on the forum. I bank with chase now for over  7 years . My bk was a five year plan, but I came into some $$$ and paid it off one year early. I have one collection that's reporting only on tu. I'm fighting the co now because it was included in my bk. I applied for a car loan the day of my discharge and was approved. but I only had 2k down, and the truck I want is approx 30k. The dealer told me I was only approved for 16k max. So I refused. It caused 6 inqu on trans. Thanks again. Any more input is helpful

Going to have to wait to build up more positive history.  Also need to get that co off tu.  Who did you blow out and for how much in bk?

I got title in mail this weekend, and two arronsons furniture bills from when I purchased my home, which was sold before I filed bk, it's reporting on my reports as paid in full for less than amount with flags, comcast, sprint and IRS was included. I only have five items reporting on each reports

Re: Fresh out of bk13

Cool.  You didn't blow out any card issuers really.  You need to continue to let those crappy cards report tobuild good history.  You need to start doing research which card issuers are bk friendly and at what point?  Some are friendly at 1 year, 2 year etc.
