Yes, when you posted my first thought was "I wonder..." but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I think preventing an open account from reporting is probably beyond the power of a front-line CSR (i.e. they don't have a button "Don't report to agency"). I would consider contacting the others you were told wouldn't report and asking for a supervisor, but the "correct" behavior is that a new account is going to be reported, so you are basically asking for a favor. And certainly some have been successful with various issuers.
Don't remember which...but one of the CSR told me that since I had just opened it and it had not been activated, that it wouldn't report. The other said that he would mark a notice on my account not to report. I'm gonna bite the bullet and just let them age.
Just tried this.
Was approved for Express, limit not reported.
Was approved for VS, limit is 500.

Classic!
Well...here's a little updated info. 2 of the 7 new accounts were reporting when I subscribed to SW monday...my EQ was 607. Have no clue what it was before they started reporting because last time I pulled my EQ was back in October. I just got a new alert that a new account had been added,...my score jumped +10. I have to believe it was because of the new account or the 3 new accounts as a whole, bc nothing else has changed on my report in 2 weeks. If I can manage to stay above 600 after the other 4 report...i'll be happy. ...I would like to ask FinStar to refrain from responding with anything contrary to my hopes. It's the New Year.

Actually, this is an open thread which was started by another poster. Therefore, as long as we all provide educational experiences which in turn is helpful information to others, then there's no harm with me responding to other users who need this information...just fyi.
