Well, I paid my GE Car Care One Card (CC1) in full several days ago. I have had it for about 3 months. It had an initial limit of $1000, to help rebuild my transmission. SInce my account updated since it has been paid in full, I decided to call and ask for a CLI like I was advised to do on this forum. Unfortunately I was denied. Hopefully I'll get an auto CLI in the near future.

GE cards need to go 4 statement cuts before a CLI can be considered. Try after 4 statements have cut.

Adding: CLI requests with the Care Credit Card are HPs not SPs like most cards, this so you will be aware.
Really? I thought in the other thread it was said that they were SPs?

I re-edited my post, misread your card and interpreted it as Care Credit not a Car related card, so the HP does not apply most likely to the Car Credit Card

So after the 4th statement should I expect an auto CLI?

Its not a guarantee but eligibility for a CLI with GECRB is after every 4th statement cut.
CarCareOne will be a HP just like CareCredit. Its one of the few GE Products that will not increase without a HP. Thank god.
OK so here is my timeline, you can take it for what its worth. I really dont think you can expect auto CLI's on this account. Just doesn't seem to be structured like the regular GE card.
Dec 2012 App -approved for 700. HP TU
I Req CLi after 4th statement cut. HP I Req 600 it gave me 700. So Limit is now 1400-HP TU
OK so 4 statements and 1 day later I REQ another CLI, this time I REQ 1500$, seeing as I am going to take a HP for it.
They countered with a total CL of 2400, so they gave 1K CLI and the notice I got reads as follows
" We have completed our review of your credit limit increase REQ. At this time we are unable to extend your credit limit to cover the full amount of the merchandise you have selected. However we are able to extend your credit limit to the following amount 2400. The Requested amount exceeds the banks lending policy"
I have Chevron Letters on my husbands line that say the same thing when his line rolled over to 2500$. Looking through the posts there are several posts saying that is the max line for chevron store card.
I have seen a few others with CC1 card in the siggy that lists higher limits, so all I can guess is the lending limits have changed internally.
Save yourself the HP and just REQ whatever the difference is up to 2400$, that way you dont have to take more HP to get it up to its listed limit.
