GE Cards, combine limits?

I have a few GE cards that I am going to close. Does anyone know if they will let you combine limits???

I have more then a few GE cards and have asked that very same question to many CSR's and the answer always comes back as no but if you have luck let me know.

I don't think you can. GE treated every co-branded card as a different program and they cannot combine all these lines into one. They cannot upgrade store card into Visa/MC without pre-approval.
