GEMB showed me some love this month. I opened four new accounts in Feb. and just logged in to find two were increased on the third statement cut!
WalMart increased from $500 to $900.
Lowes increased from $300 to $600
Still waiting on Amazon ($600) and JCP ($200). Looking forward to finding out if they will increase the limits after the fourth statement.
lucky, I am on my 4th month and no love on any of my GE accounts
Just asking. GEMB CLI's on third statement. What was your credit scores ect when applying for Walmart.Who did they pull. Sorry if I pulled it off topic. Congrats on the CLI'S.

I have several GE store cards opened recently Walmart $900 (11/11), Amazon $1600 (09/11) and I have yet to get an increase for either, through "request(s)" or automatically. I also have a Lowes Card with a $2100 CL that has not auto-increased either, so its not just new accounts.

Congrats UpNComing!
I only had my Walmart credit card for two (2) months and logged in today and received an unsolicited automatic credit limit increase! When account was opened CSR told me that since this was a new account I would need to wait four to six months before requesting a CLI. WOW!

They pulled TU on Walmart for and almost all I believe. My scores were in the mid 600s. I have used the cards pretty heavily and paid in full for the first three months. Although I'm not sure if that matters since the heaviest used card, my Amazon has yet to see an increase. We are constantly working on our home so we used the limit many times over each month for the 5% discount and paid off the balance with cash at the customer service counter each time we maxed it out.
Thanks for the congrats everyone. Seems GE is all over the place these days with who they give the CLI's to. I have pretty high util, althouth that is coming down pretty rapidly after paying down a wedding. I do have very high income however, so maybe that has something to do with it. Who knows.
