GEMB's phony reason for no CLI

"Insufficient experience at current credit limit"
This is the excuse they gave for not giving CLIs on my Amazon, PayPal, and Meijer cards.
Funny, they gave me CLIs on the Dillard's AMEX and Wal-Mart accts. that I hardly use.

I got the same reason for denial on my Amazon as well. The funny thing is that I waited until the 4th statement since my last CLI! But with my Old Navy card they gave me a 450 increase. Go figure

lol the reason is GEMB goes by use. if you only use it twice a year thats only 2 months of experiance at the credit limit. If you want experiance by something for a few bucks. pay it off after the statment cuts for 4 months then ask for a cli.

ok.  anyhoo, my point was more that even if you use your card, & wait longer than 4 months to ask, they will still sometimes give you that BS response

@There were a few times that that happened. my JCP Card was @ 2k for like a year. Last month I figure I'd try it and they bumped it up to 2.8k

they were more genorous on my last lowes & sams, got a 3k cli on my sams and 4k cli on my lowes card
