Re: Garden Club - January 2016

I think this is my first spade ever!

im going to stick with my plan that I outlined on another thread. Just slower.

in the next 12 months I have:

EX-40 TU-31 EQ-24  to age off. These are just the inquiries from the last 12 months.

i have been very irresponsible with the apping.

Consolidate and simplify! Is my motto this year.

i sincerely hope that I can stick with it!

Re: Garden Club - January 2016

Hey all. Tiny bit bummed that I had to transfer hotels. Still in paradise and cant argue with free but I definitely like Secrets Wild Orchid better than Hyatt. Although the food at Hyatt is GREAT! Not the typical all inclusive mass produced stuff at all.

Hyatt on the left, SWO on the right. I want to roll up that rug and stuff it in the closet Smiley Frustrated Its definitely seen better days, glad I brought a couple pairs of socks. No walking barefoot in this room

From the photos, I would say SWO is much nicer. Have fun!

azguy it really is but I'll make the best of my time here at Hyatt Smiley Happy Maybe once I start exploring the property later tonight or early morning I'll warm up to it. Im thinking about it now but my feet arent listening so chilling on the balcony at the moment.

Feet generally warm up with a mimosa or bloody mary on a morning of a Hawaiian vacation, lol.

Re: Garden Club - January 2016

I agree that SWO looks way nicer than the Hyatt. The Hyatt does look nice in its own right although I guess it's probably a let down after staying at SWO.

I haven't stayed in a hotel in years. Smiley Frustrated And the last one was a business hotel in Tokyo so it was nothing like the gorgeous resorts I see here. Smiley Very Happy My fiance and I might stay a local hotel once we get married for a few nights (probably the Hyatt).

Enjoying my nice lazy Saturday. Fiance went out to play with his friends so peace and quiet for me today!

Re: Garden Club - January 2016

Gosh, I can't believe there's been 10 pages and it's only the 2nd!  My holidays were fun and, more importantly, uneventful.  I'm loving the vacation pics everyone's sharing, too!

I'm starting up with the new YNAB this year after using Mint for a while (probably still will).  There are some hiccups with importing two people's account from the same CU in YNAB, so that's a bummer.  I'm looking forward to seeing my money age like a good, peaty single malt! Cat LOL

My two week app spree in Nov/Dec appears to have had almost no effect on my credit scores so far.  They went down about 15-20 points, and then today my fako scores are back over 800.

I guess now I just need to look for a thread for optimizing for people who already have excellent credit and are looking to use the system to its fullest advantage. If anybody's seen one like that, please let me know (but I'll use the search function myself too!).

Here's to a healthy 2016!

Re: Garden Club - January 2016

A discussion about jewelry and other pretty/shiny things in another thread has me wondering...

Has there ever been a proposal to swap the ruby spade and diamond spade in the gardening stages?

I know most people associate diamonds with being "the best", but good rubies are often much scarcer and more valuable than similar diamonds.

I've been gardening for just under three months and have no intention to open or close any accounts.
