Hello Everybody!
I'm a new member but have been following these forums for awhile now. After years of laying dormant with no credit line to my name after some irresponsible behavior with old cards, and resigning myself to crappy credit health, I finally started doing something about it several months ago and have taken positive steps to right the ship. I currently hold no debt (outside of my mortgage) and have no intention of carrying a balance on any of my cards. My credit is in an okay place now and I even acquired a few cards in the last month or two. After my flurry of activity and approvals for 3 new cards in the last week I'm stepping into the garden for at least six months, but am hoping to stay there for a year. That might be ambitious for me, as I'm generally an impulsive instant gratification person. I need to let my credit age and allow these low limit cards to grow.
It's good to be here. I'm happy with my current credit situation. Happier about it than I've been since college.
Now I just need to PM somebody about getting a seedling image on here.

Hey GC! I got my sapphire spade today. Just a few more months to the diamond! Woohoo!

This business cat says otherwise.
But in all seriousness major congrats to the DW on her PhD that's a lot of schooling to go through that not a lot of people can do.
But my dog got a preapproval in the mail a few months ago. I should have helped him with it.
Checking in for May! I have a few baddies I want to work on before I apply for more cards. I really want to finally get out of these toy limits

Yeah, no. I've not applied for jobs in Houston for this reason. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope.
Good morning/afternoon all. This is the start of my second month in the garden, my last app was March 26th when can I get a spade? My first post in the garden was April 7th. We paid most of the credit card debt off last month and just owe $450 on the new bed we bought last August. I have 10 paid medical collections I will be waiting to fall off my reports between this month and 2020. Let the waiting game begin!
I have been working on my DH's collections and scores the last few months and hope to get his scores up to the 650+ range this year. His scores sit between 620 and 640 right now.
Have a great May all!

Have a gret May all!
If your last app (and HP) was March 26th, you'd have been eligible for a spade on April 26. Congratulations! (Now go change your siggy!) 😃
