Re: Garden Club Meeting for March 2011

Here is my membership application to the club Smiley Happy

4 new cards in 2011 + 2 unsecured converted to secured. Bofa 500 secured to 7500 unsecured and dcu 1000 secured to 3000 unsecured.

I just closed my eyes, imagined myself in the credit card garden with all kinds of cards growing everywhere and saw a lot of small credit plants 1-2 months old. I will garden for the next few months so that I can apply for citi aa (if they still hv 75k miles offer) in august.

Happy gardening to all.

Welcome to the club. I'm pleased to announce that your membership application has been approved (and it didn't even cost you a hard pull! Smiley Wink ).

Re: Garden Club Meeting for March 2011

I began lurking on the boards August 2010.  At the time my scores were in the low 500's.

I got my first card an Exxon/Mobile with a 200 limit in Aug.  I then got a BBRMC with an amazing 100 dollar limit.  I went on in Sept to get a Cap one Credit Builder for 300 which is now 500. In Dec. 2010 I got a Cheveron Texaco with 500 on it.  I felt lucky and got a walmart and an Amazon for 500 each also in Dec.

Today I felt randy and pulled the app for a Diamond Preferred from Citi and got 4200.00!!

Time to Garden.

Whoa!!!!! Smiley Surprised

This is one of my big temptations. I see other people app for cards like this, and I wonder if I'm in range. When I go to the score match feature at financeglobe.com, it shows that I'm in range for a Citi Platinum Select MasterCard. The recommended score is 656; my area tends to pull EQ, and I'm 650. Do you mind if I ask your current scores?

Even so, I know that I'd be better off sitting tight for a while. I have a CA that will drop off this year, and the cleaner my reports and the higher my scores, the better chance I should have to be approved for a prime card. But it's just so darned HARD when I hear stories like this, LOL!!!

ETA: Congrats on the nice new card, and welcome to the club!

Application for apping for a city declined. This is against the rules of the gardening club... You are tempting all of us to apply.

No, no, no... I'm resisting, I'm being good. No, apping... now everyone repeat after me: No apping, no apping, no apping..........
Actually, I'm feeling pretty good about things today. As I mentioned in a different thread, I just got Cap 1 to agree to apply my CS CLI a month early, and for double what I had been slated for originally. So, I'm sitting here visualizing it as water being gently sprinkled onto my credit crops. Smiley Happy

Re: Garden Club Meeting for March 2011

I've been gardening my CC's for over 6 years. Am I allowed to join?

From a BK years ago to:
EX - 9/09 pulled by lender 802, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782
