My apply hand gets that itch like once or twice a month but I've been able to keep it down. Don't plan on applying for anything until I at least get into the 700s. No more baby credit lines for me.

Busy month for me. My wedding is on Saturday and I have 3 weeks off work. I'm going to just be relaxing in the cold for 2 weeks and 1 week in the sun! I have my CapOne cards ready for some out of country swiping! Smiley LOL

Checking in for November!! Hope everyone is doing ok in the garden...

My last new acct was 6/1/15, and last inquiry was in mid July (for penfed membership)....moving right along, and getting past those first 90 days wasn't a bad or as hard as I thought! Its all downhill from now!!

Good Luck to everyone!Smiley Happy

P.S.  you'd think after 2 1/2 years on this forum, Id know how to paste the the emblems in my siggy.  LOL...I just tried again, and failed miserably, ha!!

Hey pizza! Were you able to get the HPs removed for the CLIs you requested last month on your Comenity cards?

I WAS!!  They did what they said they would.  So now none since mid July!Smiley Happy

@beautifulblacquepearl- I've been following the whole HP for Comenity topic. So far, no one has reported HPs for any of the accounts I have with Comenity, but I'm aware that there's always risk. I also have Scorewatch and I have most of the free FAKO accounts that keep me up to date with pulls. Nothing so far. Don't worry, I watch that stuff like a hawk.

Okay.

You guys have been BUSY! This little family is so fun.

Ran my 2nd half-marathon in Raleigh, NC yesterday. PR'd by 1 minute. I got a charlie horse at mile 12 that I just knew was going to take me out! Whew. No actual credit news, but I should be seeing A CLI on my QS Friday.  Can't wait to combo my CapOne cards and have a QS with a decent limit. So much cashback!

Congrats on completing your marathon!!!Smiley Very Happy

As a newer member, This is my first check in thread and I am happy to say I am going strong into my 7th month of gardening. My hands have calluses, my watering can is rusted and my shovel is duct taped together. But that won't stop me!

Congrats!

I forgot to include in my post that when I contacted Capital One to ask how to change my name on the account, I was able to upgrade one of my QS1s to a Quicksilver WMC. My first WMC!

Congrats!

Hello everyone! Smiley Happy

This is my first post, however, I have been lurking for several weeks. Admittedly, my credit isn't terribly great... enter same story that most of us have had, bk--> discharge--> rebuild etc..

It's been three years since my bk was dishcarged and all that. Even afterwards, I was on shaky ground for a bit. Now, at the ripe old age of 30-something (closer to 40 than I care to admit ha!) I feel like things are coming together. Yay me! Like I said, I've been lurking awhile, and have been trying in vain to get this bloody SCT to work for me. Alas, it has not. However, I have scored a Kohls, A&F, & VS cards in my search. I added those to my two Capital One Cards, and I have just about every sub-prime card that there is--Verve, Milestone, Surge, & the two Caps, if you count them.

Things that I have noticed:

1. The search for the SCT and ensuing apping is a very heady thing indeed. I became a teensy bit obsessed with it.

2. Subprime cards, while very beneficial, still suck.

3. Climbing out of the dirge is not quite as easy as I'd anticipated.

My current scores are: TU--578 EX-567 ...and who knows what is going on over in Experian land..

So, what's next:

I have a deposit to see about on a BOA Secured card, since I'm approved for it via my apping binges.. and aside from that.. I've officially entered the garden..

Ultimate goal: to not app for anything for 24 months, so that these inquiries may fall off.. Famous last words! Wish me luck! Smiley Happy

Thank you, all, for your insights, posts, and all that good stuff. I love how positive everyone is, and how helpful!

Cheers!

Amanda xx

Re: Garden Club - November 2015

Im lost. What is going on here?! How am I accumulating bonus AA miles?! I didnt even purchase this trip using an AA card or directly through AA. It was an Orbitz package. Now I have 30k miles when I didnt even want the 24k I had sitting around before lol Geez. Maybe I'll use them for a one way business ticket somewhere idk.
