also care credit is a HP CLI so don't do that. and it's usaa, not AmEx. whatever you decide you should get rid of credit one if you get another decent one to replace it or just ditch it now. it's quite expensive but idk if you need it to improve your payment history or not.

Yes, I got a 200 dollar increase with credit one for free since having an issue with them, I only had the card for 4 months and they gave me a credit line increase. I am planning on getting a USAA Visa cash rewards or something like that from USAA in about 3-4 months

TBH NFCU may be a better option than USAA

I kind of screwed myself with NFCU, I had a charge off with them 3.5 years ago...

doubt it'll take that long. they're pretty forgiving and they're a lender who isn't scared of risk. when i sold cars in killeen (basically fort hood) and we couldn't get them approved we sent them to NFCU. if they're active duty and at least 550 they'd approve them lol. crazy...
