Hi everyone,
Apologies if I am posting in the wrong place or if this has already been thoroughly covered, this is my first post in the forums here and I did my best to research the web as well as the forums here for related posts.
I enrolled in Chase's hardship program for my Sapphire Preferred, as I had stopped working and dug myself into some CC debt. Fast forward to now and I got a new job (yay), just recently paid it off, and was hoping to get some data points for others who were hoping/successfully got another Chase card after being in their hardship program. I paid them in full, no late payments, no collections, etc. just the program were they reduce your APR and close your card (they also closed my CFU when this happened).
I don't think I'm in Chase jail, but I was hoping to score another one of their cards within the next year for some upcoming travel that I'm doing. My credit is otherwise solid, the only things counting against me are my auto loan and student loans. Has anyone else has success with them again after being in the hardship program?
Thank you

Welcome to MyFico @ledbylight !
This post may get moved to the Credit Card section.
Congrats to you for doing it the right way and successfully paying off your debt, albeit via hardship program.
I did a quick AI search for you and it seems the answer is Yes, you can get back in. AI said it would be a manual review. You must have the minimum FICO score that Chase requires. The longer you wait after completing the hardship program, the better. It also mentioned that if you are denied, you may have success with calling their reconsideration line to explain you situation.
I would recommend trying their pre-approval tool. https://creditcards.chase.com/check-for-preapproved-offers
Good luck!
Thanks for the info!
That is kinda what I was assuming, I was wondering if anyone else had any real DP but that's encouraging to hear. Checking for pre approval is a great idea, thanks for that!
Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on getting back on track! You might find this discussion helpful, as the circumstances are very similar to yours. This one may also offer some useful insight.
Best of luck!
