Since zync is a charge card w/ no interest rate (obviously because you can't carry a balance) then you won't get your EX fico. Atleast I didn't (but I was approved for the card outright with no autopay needed).

+1
If you get declined you'll get the score.

My card came on Tuesday. It looks like Costco Amex only has one interest rate, but I only got a $2k limit, so I was hoping that I would get the letter and finally know what my EX FICO is. (It's driving me CRAZY!) I thoroughly looked through the papers sent with my card, and it wasn't there. There were only standard enclosures sent with CCs (rates, privacy notice, etc.).
So, I was wondering about how long after you got your Amex card did you receive your FICO. Was it sent with the interest rates and other papers? I've been keeping an eye out, but so far nothing else has arrived.
Any thoughts? Does it look like you don't get your FICO with the Costco Amex?
Thanks!
I apped for the BCP early last week and was approved for $4900. Yesterday I received a 2 page letter from them and the second page was titled "Your FICO Score and Understanding Your FICO Score" and the first box on the top says "Your Credit Score" on the left and on the right it says "Your FICO Score: 773, Source: Experian, Date: February 27, 2012" The page then details other FICO related info and then at the bottom the "Key factors that adversely affected your FICO score. For me it says "Length of time accounts have been established, too many inquiries in the last 12 months, time since most recent application opening is too short, and proportion of loan balances to loan amounts is too high."
I also have not yet received the card, and there were no terms on the letter I received. I don't yet know what the APR will be.

Congrats!!
Nice sets of cards too!! Are you considering joining the garden now?
Well, I'm bummed. It looks like you don't get your FICO with the Costco card. I knew you didn't get it with the charge apps, because they don't have the interest rate. But since Costco is a revolver, I was really looking forward to getting that. I'm packing my bags for Pennsylvania now.

Most definitely. I am planning to purchase a house in about 2 years, so I want all of my inquiries to fall off beforehand, and that will give some more time for these newest accounts to get some age. I will be closing down my Capital One and my Orchard bank here in the next month or so as well.

Have a good trip!
From my understanding, if there's only a single interest rate or if you've gotten the best rate, then irrespective of limit, a Fico score doesn't have to be included.
I'd bet that if you were approved for the Costco witout a prior AmEx relationship, you're Ex Fico is at least 700.
When I received my BCE in Dec I did not get my Fico score by mail either. I called and asked them for it and they gave it to me over the phone. I believe this is the number that I was told to call to get my Fico score. 800-874-2717
@mAndrew1980 wrote:Bich, I feel your pain. I want my EX Fico sooooo bad. I believe it'd be my highest FICO but I have no way of knowing. I've always wondered why we can't just call the cc company and ask what it is (assuming we app'ed for their card). Anyways hopefully they'll send it to you and it just hasn't arrived yet? I'll have to wait until April or May when I app for the Zync.
You can get it if you apply get a hard limit, denied, two options you don't want or apply for a revolver the same day after you're approved.
